BMW 3 Series Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for BMW 3 Series cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In September the price for a car is €11,879 increasing till €13,049 in October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 20 % from €12,464 to €14,973. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (€14,707.5) during January and February.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2013, the average price is €8,655.86. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (€1,663) moving up till (€24,401)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 244 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€36,143) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2016, 2017) with a price of €42,478.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 81 % more affordable than the average price (€15,126). Next with a price of €6,826 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 113% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of €27,994.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 3 Series cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 65 % less expensive than the average market price (€15,126) followed by "Diesel" priced at €24,232. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 60 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs €5,315.

These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of €17,933. Cars with the the highest price have 4 doors and are 25 % more expensive than the average mentioned before.
