BMW 3 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for BMW 3 Series cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in July was €11,967. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at €11,543 during August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price rose somewhat going from €11,755 to €12,464. The average price has had spectacular rise of 24 % with an average price of €12,109.5 during the previous 4 months and €14,973 during the most recent months in November and December.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2002 and 2011, the average price is €7,551.6. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2002 (€1,936) moving up till (€15,904)in 2011. During the next two years (2012, 2013) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 192 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 22 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€28,071) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2014, 2016) with a price of €34,124.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 62 % more affordable than the average price (€14,939). Next with a price of €13,627 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 122% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of €26,958.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 3 Series cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 64 % less expensive than the average market price (€14,939) followed by "Diesel" priced at €21,942. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 47 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs €5,412.
