MG Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for MG cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is €32,936 increasing till €35,141 in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from €34,038.5 to €39,079.5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from €36,559 to €34,299 during February and March.
The average price for MG has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2018 and 2020, the average price is €18,799. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2018 (€16,133) moving up till (€21,465)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 46 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€30,212.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of €33,034.
The graph that displays the price for MG cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 26 % more affordable than the average price (€30,358). Next with a price of €24,840 and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 4% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at €27,016.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for MG cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 18 % less expensive than the average market price (€30,358) followed by "Electric" priced at €26,831. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 26 % higher than the average market price followed by "Electric" which costs €26,831.
