Peugeot Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Peugeot cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in July was €43,827. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at €42,210 during August. The following two months (September, October) the selling price went through a devaluation of -7 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from €41,614.5 to €39,317 during November and December.
The average price for Peugeot has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2002 and 2016, the average price is €4,865.47. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2002 (€675) moving up till (€15,711)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 419 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€28,444.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of €31,648.5.
The graph that displays the price for Peugeot cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (€39,195). Next with a price of €12,707 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 0% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at €29,607.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Peugeot cars points out to "Electric" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 22 % less expensive than the average market price (€39,195) followed by "Petrol" priced at €33,140. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 2 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs €37,454.
The graph showing the average price for Peugeot cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 80 % more affordable than the average price (€39,195). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of €11,809. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 6 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of €33,392.
