Volkswagen Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Volkswagen cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was €134,085. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till €160,079. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 27 % from €147,082 to €187,173.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 58 % with an average price of €167,127.75 during the previous 4 months and €263,353.5 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Volkswagen has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2002 and 2020, the average price is €14,336.05. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2002 (€2,800) moving up till (€47,129)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 247 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 52 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
