Volvo Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Volvo cars have increased during the last 6 months. In September the price for a car is €90,901 increasing till €103,287 in October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from €97,094 to €102,868. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from €99,981 to €95,959.5 during January and February.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2020, the average price is €19,175.47. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (€2,738) moving up till (€55,211)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 239 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€73,414) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of €81,748.
The graph that displays the price for Volvo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 93 % more affordable than the average price (€98,401). Next with a price of €39,710 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at €59,980.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Volvo cars points out to "Electric" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 45 % less expensive than the average market price (€98,401) followed by "Diesel" priced at €59,526. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 16 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of €79,163.
The graph showing the average price for Volvo cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 96 % more affordable than the average price (€98,401). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of €6,648. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 5 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of €24,793.
