BMW 3 Series Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 3 Series cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in March was €17,749. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at €17,101 during April. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -18 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -24 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from €15,819.5 to €12,086.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2013, the average price is €7,189.6. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (€2,088) moving up till (€21,961)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 271 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 19 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€33,109) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2016, 2017) with a price of €39,563.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 69 % more affordable than the average price (€10,973). Next with a price of €6,714 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 194% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of €26,539.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 3 Series cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 64 % less expensive than the average market price (€10,973) followed by "Hybrid" priced at €15,817. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 58 % higher than the average market price followed by "Hybrid" which costs €15,817.

These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of €5,471. Cars with the most expensive average price have 5 doors and are 38 % dearer than the average followed by those with 4 doors priced at €10,984.
