BMW 3 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 3 Series cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in April was €52,031. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at €49,487 during May. The following two months (June, July) the selling price went through a devaluation of -7 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from €49,022.25 to €49,428 during August and September.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is €8,666.19. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (€5,921) moving up till (€19,871)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 209 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 24 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€35,236.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of €43,660.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 89 % more affordable than the average price (€49,241). Next with a price of €17,850 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at €35,357.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 3 Series cars points out to "Electric" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 54 % less expensive than the average market price (€49,241) followed by "Hybrid" priced at €25,580. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 5 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of €29,006.

These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of €28,108. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 6 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
