BMW 3 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 3 Series cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in July was €65,127. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at €62,349 during August. The following two months (September, October) the selling price went through a devaluation of -10 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from €60,584.25 to €61,682.5 during November and December.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is €13,085.42. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (€10,925) moving up till (€34,259)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 207 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€47,788) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of €55,449.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 85 % more affordable than the average price (€64,261). Next with a price of €30,891 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at €49,293.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 3 Series cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 27 % less expensive than the average market price (€64,261) followed by "Diesel" priced at €48,062. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 16 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of €48,062.

These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of €43,243. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 5 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
