BMW 6 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 6 Series cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In October the average price per vehicle is €42,387. During November the price went trough a strong deflation till €35,901. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -10 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from €37,168.75 to €37,371.5 during February and March.
The average price for BMW 6 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2016, the average price is €21,516. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (€7,133) moving up till (€34,998)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 114 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€51,059.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of €56,025.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 6 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 44 % more affordable than the average price (€38,689). Next with a price of €37,607 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 44% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of €51,776.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 6 Series cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 68 % less expensive than the average market price (€38,689) followed by "Diesel" priced at €41,810. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 8 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs €12,500.

These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of €37,924. Cars with the the highest price have 5 doors and are 39 % more expensive than the average mentioned before.
