BMW 5 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for BMW 5 Series cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in July was €54,164. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at €55,748 during August. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from €54,956 to €57,270.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from €56,113.25 to €57,880.5 during November and December.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2002 and 2016, the average price is €9,708.31. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2002 (€1,775) moving up till (€23,720)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 279 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€42,656.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of €48,501.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 5 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 84 % more affordable than the average price (€57,857). Next with a price of €25,330 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at €47,555.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 5 Series cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 45 % less expensive than the average market price (€57,857) followed by "Electric" priced at €32,687. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 2 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of €39,402.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that BMW 5 Series automobiles with the cheapest price have 5 doors. They are 25 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at €43,423. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 6 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
