BMW 4 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 4 Series cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in April was €43,455. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at €41,780 during May. The following two months (June, July) the selling price went through a devaluation of -7 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from €41,030.25 to €41,550 during August and September.
The average price for BMW 4 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2014 and 2016, the average price is €22,998.67. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2014 (€19,763) moving up till (€25,679)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 35 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (€37,745.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of €44,482.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 4 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 48 % more affordable than the average price (€41,128). Next with a price of €27,099 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 11% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of €37,307.

It is 22 % less expensive than the average market price (€41,128) followed by "Diesel" priced at €40,830. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 1 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of €32,093.

These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of €31,010. Cars with the most expensive average price have 3 doors and are 25 % dearer than the average followed by those with 5 doors priced at €35,654.
